Terms and Conditions
Booking and Payment
Reservations are required for all services provided. We can be contacted at 017-2090670.
A 50% deposit must be made for the total cost of the boarding duration. The remainder of the total payment is due at checkout plus any additional services requested and/or required.
Check-in
- Keep your cat secured in its carrier/bag at all times during check-in.
- Proof of up-to-date vaccinations must be provided prior to boarding.
- Sign a waiver form before releasing your cat into our care, as well as a release form during checkout.
Vaccination Requirements
To protect all cats in our care, Minikko Cat Hotel strictly requires that all cats be fully vaccinated.
-
Cats must have up-to-date core vaccinations, typically including:
- FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia)
- Rabies (if applicable, based on veterinary advice)
- Proof of vaccination (e.g., vaccination card) must be presented during check-in.
-
If your cat is unable to be vaccinated (due to age, medical conditions, etc.), a
written
letter from a licensed veterinarian
must be provided. The letter must state that your cat:
- Is in good health
- Is free from any contagious illnesses
- Is fit for boarding in a shared cat hotel environment
- Cats that have received recent vaccinations must wait at least seven (7) days after vaccination before checking in. This allows time for the cat's immune response to develop and to monitor for any post-vaccination side effects.
Health Condition
To prevent the spread of illness and to protect both your cat and others, all cats must be in good physical health to board at Minikko Cat Hotel.
- A basic health check will be conducted during check-in.
- Cats showing visible signs of illne ss may be denied entry, even if a booking has been confirmed.
-
Signs that may result in refusal include (but are not limited to):
- Fungal infections, such as ringworm
- Bald patches, excessive fur loss, or skin irritation
- Coughing, sneezing, or nasal discharge
- Watery or swollen eyes
- Diarrhea, vomiting, or visible abdominal discomfort
- Lethargy, weakness, or signs of distress
- Ear mites, inflammation, or abnormal ear discharge
Cats that show signs of illness at the time of check-in will not be allowed to board, as the stress of boarding may worsen their condition and pose a health risk to others.
Flea Prevention and Treatment
Minikko Cat Hotel has a zero-tolerance policy for fleas to maintain a clean and parasite-free environment.
- All cats must be on active flea prevention, either monthly spot-on, oral, or veterinary-prescribed treatments.
- If a cat has had fleas recently, treatment must be applied at least 7 days prior to check-in.
- Cats with live fleas at check-in will be refused entry.
Proof of flea prevention must be shown and may include:
- Packaging or vial of recently used flea medication
- Video or photo evidence of the application process
We offer flea treatment at an additional charge, but please note:
- Your cat will be isolated temporarily until it is safe to move them to the general boarding area.
- Flea treatment must be agreed to in writing before it is administered.
Behavioural Requirements
For the safety of our staff and the comfort of all guests, we reserve the right to deny boarding to cats that exhibit dangerous or unmanageable behaviour.
- Cats that are aggressive, violent, or overly defensive will not be accepted.
- If your cat attempts to bite, scratch, or escape during handling at check-in, we may refuse boarding on the spot.
- If your cat is shy, anxious, or nervous, please inform us in advance. We are happy to take special steps to help your cat feel more at ease.
- Boarding may be adjusted or limited if we determine that your cat's behaviour puts them or others at risk.

We provide Carnilove Chicken & Rabbit dry kibble, churo sticks, and freeze-dried chicken cubes. Owners may bring their own food in airtight containers or bags.

Advanced notice is required for cats needing medication. Capsules that can be mixed with food are preferable. We do not administer injections. An additional fee may apply.
General Risks Involved
